Position: SS, 2nd, Pitch(back-up mostly) Area your from: Redding, Ca. - Just moved here from San Diego Will you travel for tournaments: Yes - Heavy traveling player always chasing NIT's League only: Only if Local Tournaments only: Anything Fifteen Years of competive tournament playing. This is a somewhat of my background in playing: I just moved from San Diego up to the Redding, Ca. area. I have played competitive ball for over 15yrs. I have played in over 10 Worlds in both Division play and special divisions ( Military, Hispanic, Co-Ed). I took some time off playing on traveling tournament teams because of my business but want to get back in the swing of things. I played middle infield for most of my softball career but I am open to playing any position. I have been a lead off hitter most of the time since I bat left handed but am a true righty. Plus, I have some speed for the lead off spot. Being a lead off hitter, I am not a power hitter but, when asked, I can take it over the fense. I am a place hitter that bats for average. I am very competitive in all game play but 100% team player that knows the game well. I have coached many teams as well but want to just be a player only. I was an USSSA umpire for about 5 years as well so I know the game inside and out. Played in A-B-C-D divisions during my time playing throughout the years. Played in the C Division the most since the upper divisions were far few in between. Teams that I have played for in San Diego range from the S.D. Knights, Sleepers, NAB Gators, Movers, Team Grover, Team Oasis, Blasters, and a few other well known teams. Being from Southern California, I remember traveling up here numerious times and remember the competition being very good. I know that the Redding area does not have a huge talent base but, I am open for playing with an out of town team. Please email me at beachcrow@frontiernet.net for direct contact. My situation is: I just moved back to the states from Germany. I'm over in the Marysville/Yuba City/Beale AFB area. I don't know a whole lot of ballers around here yet. Do you know of any teams looking for a player? I'm a little guy of 5'3" 170, but I'm lightning around the bases, I swing a hard stick (I crush occasionally,2b hitter), and I play outfield.
